About us

We are a Melbourne based service company, the majority of our work involves testing the security of computer systems, applications and networks. Additionally, we provide education and training to software developers and IT professionals. We have been operating for six years and our clients include some of Australia’s most widely known companies. We pride ourselves on being a tech strong security business and so our culture is one that encourages and promotes the technical skills development of its team. Currently we operate under a hybrid of working from home and coming into the office. This position has arisen in response to our growing list of clients and the increasing growth of the information security field. We are always excited to work with and promote the professionals in our team.

Qualifications & experience

• Proficient in Linux, Mac or Windows command lines.
• A general understanding of the HTTP protocol.
• Proven, sustained self study specifically in the field of cyber security.
• Have previously built a web application either professionally or as a hobbyist.
• Proven coding or scripting skills in one or more languages, for example: C#, Java, Golang, Rust, JavaScript, Ruby, Python, PowerShell or shell scripting.
• English skills sufficient to communicate clearly via written reports, email and over the phone.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Penetration testing for clients across different industries based in Melbourne and around Australia.
• Cyber security consulting covering varied technology stacks.
• Demonstrating technical security skills.
• Corresponding and communicating with clients via email, slack and video.
• Professional report writing and drafting.
• Attending and working from client site from time to time.
• General conduct in a manner expected of an industry professional.
